- Where do I host my site?
You can choose your own hosting company, or we can take care of that for you. In addition, we can acquire your domain name for you and do a “turn key” operation so you can run your business and not have to worry about your website.
- I have a website now, but I am not happy with it. What are my options?
A large part of our business comes from re-design of current websites. We can totally redo your website, or we can redo parts of it if practical. Most clients opt to have us start from “scratch” and deliver a product that they have full control over.
- How does it work once I have decided to have BAggies47 do my website?
Below is a list of how the process typically unfolds:
Initial meeting with sales rep to discuss what you want in your site: color schemes, layout, design, etc. We do a “mock up” of your front page. During this meeting we do not worry about content. We are looking for your approval on the design so we can proceed. Once that is accomplished we go to step 3.
Gather information to go on the site. This is where you give to us content for your new site. This will include pictures you want on the site, text you want, etc. It is important to do this in a timely manner so we can finish your site.
Third meeting: This is where you look at the site after all content is implemented. We ask you to go over all aspects of the site, and give us final approval.
After final approval, your site will go “live.”
- What is a domain name and how do I get one?
A domain name is the name you want to have for your web URL. For example our URL is : baggies47.com. You can go to our site and check for available names. There are no duplicate URL’s on the internet. Yours must be unique. Baggies47 will be glad to take care of this for you if you feel uncomfortable with it or just don’t have time.
- How do I know how many people are seeing my website?
Baggies47 will send you a report of how your site is doing. This is a part of the AWS statistics program that will give you just about anything you want to know about your site. Just request a report any time and we will email it to you.
- How do I get a login for the customer part of your site?
We will send you your unique password when you become a customer. There are lots of benefits of having an account such as access to the latest bill, being able to change service plans online, and much more.
- When do I pay for my site?
25% down is due before we do the mock up. The balance is due before the site goes "live."
